Hunting in national reserves: how to access stalks and driven hunts

The hunting in national reserves is currently the main way to access some of the best hunting grounds in Spain. These areas, managed by the Environmental Departments, offer hunts in environments of high natural value, with controlled management that guarantees the quality of the species and the sustainability of the environment.

Access to these areas is not free. Most permits to hunt in national hunting reserves are awarded through official draws, making this system the only real way to participate in stalks and driven hunts in these locations.

These draws are organized by each autonomous community and have limited quotas, which makes it essential to participate actively and constantly to increase the chances of being selected.

Hunting draws in national reserves: how the system works

Hunting draws in national reserves are announced periodically by the regional administrations. Each call establishes specific conditions, available species, and hunting areas.

The general process includes:

  • Prior registration in the draws of each autonomous community
  • Random allocation of hunting permits
  • Direct notification to the hunter if they are selected
  • Confirmation of the hunt through the corresponding payment

As it is a system based on draws, the key is to maximize participation in different calls throughout the year.

In this context, La Diana Club de Caza facilitates access to hunting in national reserves by managing registration in multiple draws centrally, allowing hunters to increase their options without having to carry out all the procedures individually.

Advantages of participating in national reserve draws

  • Access to hunting areas of high natural value
  • Lower costs than those of private estates
  • Sustainable management of species and quotas
  • Possibility of accessing high-quality stalks

Participating in hunting in national reserves is not only a hunting opportunity, but also an experience linked to respect for the environment and responsible wildlife management.

If you want to access stalks and driven hunts in national reserves without complications, at La Diana Club de Caza we manage your participation in official draws in all autonomous communities, increasing your chances of being selected.
