The Consejería de Medio Ambiente y Ordenación del Territorio (Regional Ministry of Environment and Territorial Planning) announces every year the public hunting offer for the awarding of hunting permits for the hunting season in public lands, managed by the Junta de Andalucía (Andalusian Regional Government).
The permits to carry out this activity in the Andalusian Hunting Reserves and publicly owned reserves will be awarded by drawing lots for the modalities of stalking, stalking, hunting, beats or hook. Specifically, this hunting activity will be developed in the four Andalusian hunting reserves, which are located in the mountains of Cazorla and Segura, Tejeda and Almijara, Cortes de la Frontera and Serrania de Ronda. In the latter case, it will be necessary to consider the possible declaration of Sierra de Las Nieves as a National Park, a recognition that would affect hunting activities. In addition to the reserves, the public hunting offer also refers to activities in 34 reserves managed by the Junta de Andalucía located in the provinces of Almería (10), Cádiz (4), Córdoba (3), Granada (2), Jaén (14) and Seville (1). In total, the surface area for the development of these hunting initiatives exceeds 235,000 hectares.
The web page of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fishing and Sustainable Development offers useful information for those interested in participating in this call, who will also be able to know the conditions, models and deadlines for the presentation of applications for each of the modalities for the awarding of hunting permits through the Internet. In this case, the information can be found in the official website on hunting activities (www.ofertapublicacazandalucia.es) of the Environment and Water Agency (Amaya) and in the provincial offices of this entity as they become available.
