Each season, thousands of hunters participate with the aim of obtaining permits to hunt highly sought-after species such as mountain goats, chamois, roe deer and red deer in Aragon. <\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Aragon has established itself as one of the most important destinations in Spain for mountain hunting, especially for trophy stalking on sustainably managed public lands.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>Permits are awarded through public draw, which guarantees transparency and equal access. For many hunters, it is the only way to access: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spanish ibex stalking in Aragon<\/li>\n<li>Pyrenean chamois stalking in the Pyrenees<\/li>\n<li>Red deer and roe deer stalking in public reserves<\/li>\n<li>Population control permits and regulated driven hunts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, the Aragonese reserves stand out for genetic quality, mountain orography, and optimal animal density.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Main species in Aragon stalking hunts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Big game usually offered<\/p>\n<p>Spanish ibex (trophy, non-medal, control)<\/p>\n<p>Pyrenean chamois<\/p>\n<p>Corzo<\/p>\n<p>Red deer<\/p>\n<p>Spanish ibex in Aragon (highly sought after for trophy)<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Hunting reserves in Aragon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aragon has several public hunting reserves managed by the regional administration, mainly distributed between the provinces of Huesca and Teruel. In the province of Huesca, there are five outstanding reserves: Los Valles, considered one of the most important Pyrenean reserves; Vi\u00f1amala, located in high mountains and managed especially for species such as chamois; Los Circos, another hunting area of great importance in the Huesca Pyrenees; Benasque, located in the region that bears the same name; and La Garcipollera, one of the smallest reserves in surface area but also included within the public management of fauna. <\/p>\n<p>In the province of Teruel, three main reserves stand out. The best known is Montes Universales, a reference for mountain stalking in Aragon. There is also the Beceite reserve, also known as <em>Ports de Tortosa-Beceite<\/em>, recognized for the quality of its Spanish ibex stalking.
